Description

A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with bucatini, Pecorino Romano cheese, and freshly ground black pepper.


Ingredients

  • 400g Bucatini
  • 150g Pecorino Romano, grated
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the bucatini in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
  2. Reserve a bit of the cooking water before draining the pasta.
  3. In a large pan, add the cooked pasta along with a few ladles of the reserved cooking water.
  4. Stir in the grated Pecorino Romano and freshly ground black pepper.
  5. Mix quickly to combine and create a creamy sauce, adding more water if necessary.
  6. Serve immediately with additional cheese and pepper on top.

Notes

Use a coarse grater for the Pecorino for a smoother incorporation into the pasta. Adjust the amount of black pepper to your taste.
