- 250 ml of heavy cream
- 100 g of grated parmesan
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the heavy cream and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the parmesan and salt until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra rich sauce, add a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg. Garnish with more parmesan and fresh basil before serving.
