Description

A moist and light apple yogurt cake that embodies the warmth of homemade cooking and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 pot of plain yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 150g sugar
  • 200g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, eggs, and sugar.
  3. Add oil and mix until smooth.
  4. Incorporate flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if desired), and mix until homogeneous.
  5. Peel and cut the apples into pieces, then fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured mold.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or include nuts or raisins for texture. Serve with powdered sugar or chocolate shavings for decoration.
