Delicious layered lasagna filled with mushrooms, ham, and cheese, bringing warmth and comfort to any meal.
Ingredients
- Lasagne sheets (dry or fresh)
- Fresh mushrooms (preferably button mushrooms)
- Quality ham, diced
- Mozzarella or a cheese for gratin
- Béchamel sauce (made from milk, flour, and butter)
- Tomato sauce (homemade or canned)
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for sautéing
- Grated cheese (Gruyère or Parmesan), for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Add the diced ham and mix well.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of tomato sauce, followed by a layer of lasagna sheets, then the mushroom and ham mixture, and followed by a layer of béchamel sauce.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of béchamel sauce and grated cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For richer flavors, consider marinating mushrooms in olive oil and herbs before cooking. Adjust seasoning gradually to taste.
