Ingredients

- 500g onions, finely sliced
- 3 eggs
- 200ml milk
- 150g all-purpose flour
- 50g butter
- 100g grated cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, sauté the onions until they are golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix together the eggs, milk, butter, flour, grated cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Add the caramelized onions to the mixture and stir well.
- Grease a tart pan and pour the mixture into it.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until the tart is golden and firm.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Add thyme or oregano for extra flavor. Let the tart rest before cutting for better presentation.
