Description

A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, infused with tropical flavors of mango and passion fruit, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 2 passion fruits, pulp scooped
  • 250g mascarpone
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 100g sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare a strong coffee and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy.
  3. Gently mix in the mascarpone.
  4. Whip the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold them gently into the mixture.
  5. Dip the ladyfinger biscuits into the coffee and place them at the bottom of a dish.
  6. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits.
  7. Add pieces of mango and passion fruit on top.
  8. Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used up.
  9. Finish with a layer of mascarpone and dust with cocoa powder.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, let the tiramisu rest overnight. You can vary the fruits to your preference.
