- 3 aubergines
- 3 boules de mozzarella
- 1/2 paquet de parmesan râpé
- 1 pot de sauce tomates/basilic
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Slice the aubergines into thin lengthwise slices.
- Arrange the slices on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Brush each slice with olive oil and season with salt.
- Bake the aubergines for 25 minutes.
- Layer the cooked aubergines in a dish, alternating with tomato sauce and mozzarella, repeating for three layers.
- Bake the assembled dish for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
Notes
You can enhance flavors by adding fresh herbs like basil or oregano. For a lighter version, substitute part of the mozzarella with ricotta cheese.
