Description

A comforting and flavorful Italian dish made with fresh eggplants, mozzarella, and a rich tomato sauce.


Ingredients

  • 3 aubergines
  • 3 boules de mozzarella
  • 1/2 paquet de parmesan râpé
  • 1 pot de sauce tomates/basilic

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Slice the aubergines into thin lengthwise slices.
  3. Arrange the slices on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush each slice with olive oil and season with salt.
  5. Bake the aubergines for 25 minutes.
  6. Layer the cooked aubergines in a dish, alternating with tomato sauce and mozzarella, repeating for three layers.
  7. Bake the assembled dish for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.

Notes

You can enhance flavors by adding fresh herbs like basil or oregano. For a lighter version, substitute part of the mozzarella with ricotta cheese.
