Ingredients

- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Oil for frying
- Sugar and cinnamon for dusting
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water and butter to a boil.
- Add the flour, salt, and sugar, and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Remove from heat and add the eggs one by one, mixing well.
- Heat the oil in a fryer.
- Fill a piping bag with the dough and form sticks into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with sugar and cinnamon before serving.
Notes
For best results, serve churros warm. Pair with chocolate sauce or caramel for added delight.
