- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 4 large tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Garlic butter (for spreading)
- Green onions (optional, for garnish)
- Sour cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes, breaking it into small pieces.
- Drain excess fat, then add onions and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cumin; simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Spread garlic butter on the center of each tortilla.
- Divide the meat mixture evenly between the tortillas, then sprinkle shredded cheeses on top.
- Roll the tortillas tightly and cook seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown; flip and cook the other side.
- Serve sliced diagonally, garnished with fresh cilantro and with optional toppings on the side.
