Description

A visually stunning and delicious cake featuring a combination of cocoa and fresh cheese with hints of candied orange.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder (milk)
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder (dark)
  • 230 g cream cheese
  • 70 g sugar
  • 30 ml orange syrup
  • 4 sheets gelatin
  • 50 ml hot milk
  • 110 g whipped cream
  • 50 g candied orange
  • Milk chocolate
  • Dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the biscuit dough.
  2. Place cocoa powder in two small bowls.
  3. Add about 2 tablespoons of dough to each bowl and mix.
  4. Fill piping bags with the contents from each bowl.
  5. Drop thick dollops of milk chocolate dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space.
  6. Surround the milk chocolate drops with dark chocolate dough.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for 2 minutes on the air circulation setting.
  8. Spread the remaining biscuit dough on the baking sheet and smooth it out.
  9. Bake for 18 minutes at the same temperature and let the cake cool.
  10. Flip the cake using a cutting board and remove the parchment paper. Cut the cake into three strips lengthwise.

Notes

Ensure the dark chocolate dough is thick enough to surround the milk chocolate drops. Use a spatula to smooth the biscuit dough for an even surface.
