Description

A refreshing and elegant sashimi dish, perfect for special occasions, made with high-quality salmon and a flavorful marinade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz salmon sashimi
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon marinated green olives, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh mint
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon toasted pine nuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the salmon in the freezer for 20-30 minutes to firm up.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, chopped mint, parsley, olives, and red onion. Season the marinade with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the salmon from the freezer and slice it thinly with a sharp knife.
  4. Arrange the slices on a serving platter.
  5. Pour the marinade over the salmon slices, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Refrigerate the salmon and let it marinate for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For optimal flavor, serve the salmon immediately after marinating. Customize the marinade with your favorite herbs or spices for variety.
