Description

A comforting sauté of tender chipolatas, crunchy carrots, and sweet parsnip with fragrant basmati rice, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 chipolatas
  • 4 carrots
  • 220 g basmati rice
  • 1 parsnip
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the onion.
  2. Peel the carrots and parsnip, then cut them into rounds.
  3. Heat the oil in a sauté pan and cook the vegetables for five minutes, stirring regularly.
  4. Add 500 ml of water and pour in the rice.
  5. Cut the sausages into rounds and mix them into the sauté pan.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.

Notes

For additional flavors, consider adding peas or zucchini. Always taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
