Description

A delicious sautéed chicken dish with cashews and mild spices that is perfect for a memorable dinner gathering.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, diced
  • 100g cashews
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Sweet spices to taste (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown.
  4. Stir in cashews, soy sauce, honey, and sweet spices.
  5. Cook for a few more minutes until chicken is cooked through and coated in sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.

Notes

For a perfect result, cook the chicken in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan. Adjust the sweetness with more or less honey to taste.
